Tired of being tired
Hey Loves,
I hope you are all well and have had a blessed and wonderful week thus far.
Thank you all for your support, love, and encouragement throughout this journey, not just my process but the journey of all my readers who can relate, and weekly take something away from the blogs.
Ok, so this week I have had a lot to think about and truthfully I have come to points where my mind has been overloaded and just full to capacity with stuff.
When I stop to take a minute to consider what I am thinking about, what are my concerns, and what are my issues, I can't help but wonder if I am the only one struggling with these things, is there anyone else out there that does what I do, or responds how I respond?
Don't worry this is not a 'Misery loves company' thing. Lool
The title tired of being tired, in this season is my truth... Guys, I go to bed tired, go through the day tired and wake up tired. Yes, that could partially be because I am in the last trimester of my pregnancy, however, the tiredness I am feeling is not just physical but also mental, emotional and spiritual.
My mind runs through so much, such as my family (husband, kids, marriage), the business that we started not long ago, external relationships, finances, and the level of my intimacy with God, there is truly a long list of things that I have not even listed.
All I know is the weight is heavy.
Don't worry I refuse to spend this blog complaining because God knows I have more to be grateful for than I do to complain about.
Today I have made a bold choice no longer to focus on my problems, I'm not ignoring them or acting as though they do not exist as that would put me in a place of denial, and ignorance and probably get in more trouble than I need right now but I am choosing to redirect my energy and my focus on things that will prosper me and help me to grow in things that God has placed before me.
I tend to find that a lot of the things we face in life are not actually major things, they seem bigger and badder than they are, however, when you actually take time to analyse what you think is going on, you realise it really wasn't that big to start with.
In moments like this, I find it is time to get excited, because not only does the word of God encourage us to rejoice in times of hardship (James 1: 2-4) as one example of the many words on this matter, but we should also remember the strategy of the enemy. Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10), know let's think logically if the job of someone is to kill, steal or destroy, who exactly would be their target??? In my opinion, they would only go for someone who has something worth stealing, worth killing, and worth destroying.
Who would waste their time going through so much effort attacking people who are pretty much, killing and destroying themselves or each other, stealing from one another, or simply just giving away their treasures?
The enemy will only come for those who threaten his agenda, which to some degree brings me a level of comfort knowing that I must be doing something right if the enemy feels threatened enough to attack my situation.
So with that being said, I want to try as of today to take everything in its stride, to be slower in my responses to what seems bad, and to put the situation into perspective. What am I facing? Why is it happening to me right now at this moment? Who is the attacker? This question is so important because many times we can point the finger at people, without really taking into consideration that they are not our problem, they are unfortunately a tool used by the enemy to throw us off track (Ephesians 6: 12).
Understanding the true offender helps in identifying the correct battle strategy.
Without going into preacher mode, What I'm trying to say, is one step at a time, one issue at a time, one day at a time.
In this season I'm learning that it's ok not always be ok, It's a quote that I have quoted often in the past without really considering it for myself.
However to elaborate on that, when not feeling ok, try not to spend too much on your feeling and emotions but transform that energy into something productive, and fight back by being successful in the things you have been called to.
There is no problem greater than our purpose, and there is nothing that God brings us to that he will not bring us through.
Where is your happy place? what brings you comfort? Where is your prayer closet?
For me, my happy place is where ever my family is, My comfort is in writing, whether blogs, poetry, or journaling, and my prayer closet is my bedroom or bathroom.
These are some key points that help when seeking peace and a place to refocus, regroup, re-vibe, and reacquaint yourself with God and his bigger plan for you.
Don't forget when troubles come your way, let them be fuel to your fire, as it may be a sign that you are on the right track, but I advise you to always seek God as it could also be a gentle nudge that we may need to make some changes in our process.
Even though I'm tired in all aspects of life, I take it as a sign that I need to rest, in every area also, take a major step back and spend time in peace, I love to listen to my praise and worship as without fail, it shifts my mood from low to energetic, It brings me inspiration and it speaks the prayer of my heart that my mouth struggles to form in those moments.
It took me over 1000 words Guys just to tell you, that contentment, happiness, joy, peace, success, productivity, and perspective is all a choice, We have the power to decide, and there is nothing the enemy of people can take from you without permission.
We got this, and from today refocus requires a readjustment of our minds and our words. Life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21).
The next season of your life is about to be the best season so far.
I hope you enjoyed this read, whether it be in bed as a bedtime read, on your lunch break, in your quiet time, or on your commute. Either way, I appreciate you riding this ride with me.
Love to all
Matthew 11:28
Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

Amen, I can relate to this post. So many thoughts/worries whizzing around in my mind which often distracts me from my purpose. I think I will take stock of these thoughts by writing them down and then replace them with the promises of God. Great read! Blessings and love ๐

I love that you zoned in on the fact that we have a choice in our lives between the positives or negatives and should decide on the former.....life Proverbs 18:21. This resignates with so many of us as we juggle life's responsibilities. And how our beings can become clogged or bogged down...so we should persue detoxification across dimensions. Thanks๐
